About Dominic Meslin
Dominic Meslin is known for using his exceptional negotiation techniques and ability to think outside the box to provide his clients creative, practical and cost-effective solutions to address their legal matters.
Dominic has acted in thousands of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases and refinances. During his career, Dominic has handled property matters for a national pharmacy chain, a five-diamond hotel, a popular international bulk retailer and a premier Canadian bookstore. He has also conducted share transfer and securitization of several downtown Vancouver residential towers, and has acted on the purchase and sale of land for development projects on the North Shore and in Vancouver.
As an avid foodie, Dominic is very pleased to have been involved in the commercial real estate matters of a major restaurant opening by a high-profile celebrity chef, along with commercial transactions of an award-winning BC winery, several Vancouver eateries and a prominent industrial food refrigeration manufacturer.
Like many fellow Vancouverites, Dominic Meslin loves the outdoors. He can be seen working in the garden, running or cycling along the seawall, and is delighted to have been involved in the opening of a prominent Vancouver cycling retailer.
Dominic Meslin enjoys taking extra time to know his clients and their needs. This allows him to provide effective, personalized advice in estate planning matters. He provides seminars in his community to inform of the probate and estate planning process.
Dominic has lived on the Pacific coast where he obtained his Bachelor of Science at UBC, and on the Atlantic coast, where he earned his law degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has also spent several years living on the prairies, along with various locations throughout the Fraser Valley. He currently calls Kitsilano his home.
